KAM/Global Resource Planner

This KAM/Global Resource Planner job is an exciting opportunity to join one of the top 10 global pharmaceutical companies in their Distribution and Logistics team. This leading Swiss pharmaceutical company are currently looking to hire a KAM/Global Resource Planner to be based at their site in [Basel. This role will be accountable for supporting and managing the excipient and packaging material demand from the project teams. Actively manage the demand in SAP and ensure the right demand at requested due dates.

Job Responsibilties:

• Single point of contact for following demand carriers:
• PDU (Pharmaceutical Development Unit) Parenteral, Topical & Ophtha (Basel, India, Fort Worth)
• PDU Inhalation
• PDU ORAL - Team Early Phase
• PDU ORAL - Team Late Phase 1
• PDU ORAL - Team Late Phase 2
• Oral India
• NOP (novel Oral Products)
• CM, CHAD (Clinical Manager, Chemical & Analytical Development)
• BTD (PCS) Early Phase (Biotechnology Development, Preclinical Safety)
• BTD (PCS) Late Phase
• BDSS (Biologics Drug Substance Supply)
• Responsible for the collection of excipient demands related to GMP & laboratory activities
• Attend project team meetings where necessary to understand demand and supply needs
• Actively investigate demand situation and changes in demand
• Monthly update of demands in SAP P99
• Add, change, shift or cancel excipients demands in SAP P99 immediately after changes in demand situation become foreseeable
• Verify demand & supply situation in case of call-offs
• Create purchase orders in SAP P99 on behalf of project teams to initiate supply
• Strong collaboration with Excipients Supply Chain Coordinator regarding lead-times
• Resolve bottleneck situations in collaboration with Excipients Supply Chain Coordinator

Skills and Requirements:

• Degree in science, supply chain, business administration or equivalent with SAP knowledge
• Pharmaceutical Development understanding along with Supply Chain Knowledge
• SAP Key user experience, ideally MM module (Material Management), PP (Production Planning) or WM (Warehousing)
• Fluent English and German (oral and written)
• 2 years of relevant experience in business support role with related areas of business (e.g. pharmaceutical development or manufacturing organization) desirable and 2 years of experience in technical domain of expertise (i.e. SAP application know-how)
• Proven track record in project management/implementation management, good organization and planning skills.
