A leading US biopharmaceutical organisation with a solid commercial portfolio of life-saving drugs within a number of therapy areas have a new IT Project Manager- III job opportunity at their offices in California. The company has a growing pipeline of investigational drugs and approximately 5,000 employees in offices across four continents.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage multiple projects independently
  • Translate business needs into projects.
  • Collect information about projects and organize the information to define project scope, deliverables, milestones and timelines.
  • Identify project stakeholders. Work with them to identify resources and define roles and responsibilities, project tasks, actions and dependencies.
  • Define project issues and works with project team to facilitate their resolution
  • Define and communicate project goals, benefits, and risks to the project team and stakeholders
  • Organize project meetings, track and communicate project status to the project team and stakeholders
  • Proactively drive project progress and ensure quality deliverables

Skills and Requirements:

  • Project management methodologies.
  • Project lifecycle, deliverables and roles.
  • Experience working in Life Sciences and/or GxP environment.
  • Experience working in Clinical Operations or Biometrics.
  • Knowledge of Business Analysis and experience in creating process maps.
  • At least 8 years of project management in multiple industries. Applicants with at least 5years of project management/business analysis experience in pharma/biotech or 3 years of project management or other experience in Clinical Drug Development in pharma/biotech will also be considered.
  • Demonstrable project management skills.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
