HTA Manager

One of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world is seeking an HTA Manager to join their team in Surrey, UK on a contract basis.

Job Responsibilities:

• The position is office based and will report directly to the Health and Value Team Leader.
• Provide and deliver health economics expertise to support HTA submissions to NICE/SMC/JCVI for the company's extensive portfolio of technologies.
• Support the development of HTA strategies
• Support the sourcing, generation and interpretation of scientific evidence (including economics information and data)
• Support the planning, design and execution of projects aligned to address NICE, SMC, AWMSG and JCVI processes and requirements

Role Requirements:

• Be a technical expert with a track record in economic modelling, outcomes research, epidemiology and/or evidence synthesis
• Experience of developing HTA submissions to NICE/SMC/JCVI
• Remote working could be considered on a case-by-case basis, for a maximum of 2 days/week.
• Track-record/experience in economic modelling, outcomes research, epidemiology and/or evidence synthesis
• Strong project management, communication, listening and analytical skills
• Experience of developing HTA submissions (desirable for those with vaccines experience)
• Experience of commissioning and managing external vendors
• Experience of stakeholder management both internal and external
• 3+ years of professional experience in similar roles Desirable
• Postgraduate qualification in health economics or allied discipline such as outcomes research, epidemiology etc
• Rare disease, General Medicine, Inflammation & Immunology and/or Vaccines experience.
• Experience of developing submissions for NICE/SMC/JCVI
