Proclinical are currently recruiting for one of the largest workforce management solutions companies in the world, who specialise in multiple scientific and engineering sectors. The company is seeking an HR Business Partner to join the Maidenhead team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing the HR relationship within the Affiliate and the Maidenhead site.
  • Creating HR plans that will drive optimal business performance in terms of Change Management, Talent Management, Organisational Design, Resourcing, Performance Management and Leadership Capability. The Business Partner will also ensure that these teams are in line with HR policies and standards.
  • Counselling managers on their day-to-day activities, i.e., organisation, training, managing rewards, etc, and benchmarking those practices both locally and with company affiliates.
  • Ensuring the proper organisation and execution of HR operation activities and policy implementations.
  • Working operationally with managers to identify and implementing people plans, ensuring that employees are placed in roles that allow them to perform to the best of their abilities.
  • Working proactively with managers to retain and develop the best people through succession and resource plans.
  • Promoting positive performance management within the business area, improving capability at all levels.
  • Retaining the best people by working with managers to create an encouraging working culture and environment.
  • Working with the Management team to develop internal careers and future talent within the business area.
  • Supporting the employee engagement survey and working with line managers to formulate and implement action plans for improvement.
  • Working with line managers to develop their capability and understanding to deal effectively with employee relations issues.
  • Managing complex HR policies and processes, identifying practical solutions to employee issues that reflect BIIB values, whilst adhering to employment legislation.
  • Reviewing relevance, accuracy and application of HR policies and processes.
  • Reviewing and amending HR policies, assessing their applications and processes.
  • Processing Compensations/Rewards across the business area/UK site; ensuring transparency and improving understanding of total rewards and benefit packages.
  • Implementing systems and management information, whilst ensuring 100% accuracy of all HR data.
  • Driving HR projects where appropriate.

Skills and Requirements:

  • A CIPD qualification, at a graduate calibre/level.
  • Previous experience and expertise with HR.
  • Excellent communicative skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation.
  • An ability to build and manage relationships successfully, at all levels.
  • An ability to earn trust and credibility.
