Proclinical is excited to announce that an opening for a Health and Safety Associate position has emerged at one of the largest global pharmaceutical companies, that is committed to developing high-quality medicine to meet real world problems. This respected company is seeking a hard working and talented individual to be recruited to their team in Speke on a contract basis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Working with dust/powder from manufacturing, as well as noise, labs, and solvents.
- Working directly on site a lot, including plant walk downs, advising, and guiding teams.
- Reviewing deviations, event assessment, and giving judgment on what type of action is needed.
- Creating and maintain a monitoring plan and following this through; watching and observing activities.
- Occasionally doing reactive work.
Skills and Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience, and a membership with the British Occupational Hygiene Society.
- Experience with COSHH and the related regulations essential.
- Manufacturing experience with dust is essential; this does not ned to be pharma related, however, as other sources of experience (such as food or consumer goods) will be accepted.
- Based on site.
- An ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills with a great attention to detail.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
