Proclinical is proud to represent a well-known international radiopharmaceutical company with sites around the globe looking to hire a Head of Governance & Compliance, located in Geneva. The company specialises in developing and commercializing radiopharmaceutical development, offering professionals the opportunity to pursue a career in a fast growing, technologically driven healthcare company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Driving medical governance and setting standards across key Medical Affairs activities. This will be based on internal policies and guidelines, along with applicable external laws, regulations, pharmaceutical industry codes; this will be done in close collaboration with both global and local teams.
- Leading cross-functional teams to continuously improve standards, processes and implement training for appropriate audiences.
- Assuring the roll out of compliance training programs and refreshments, along with tracking the training records of the organisation.
- Monitoring effectiveness of internal controls and adherence to established standards.
- Taking charge of implementing key operation activities on both a local and global level and ensure full alignment with country medical heads.
- Identifying quality and compliance risks across Medical Affairs, establishing a sustainable mechanism to mitigate the risks, and ensure governance across the organisation.
- Leading and driving governance related projects for GMA.
- Leading or participating in cross-functional projects to implement and continuously improve governance and compliance in GMA, and drive optimisation of related standards to gain sustainability in the business.
- Identifying the effectiveness of processes, trainings and standards, such as audit outcome reviews, business/peer reviews and KPIs.
- Establishing and maintaining communication channels to optimize the interface between local and global medical teams, whilst raising awareness on compliance related matters.
- Ensuring readiness for Health Authority inspections and internal audits.
- Ensuring strong remediation plans for any non-compliance findings.
- Collaborating with cross functions to implement plans related to global governance matters.
- Effectively ensuring CAPA plans.
- Identifying and mitigating potential compliance risks in GMA and across local organisations.
Skills and Requirements:
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, along with an extensive experience of leading medical affairs, clinical development, or governance activities.
- At least an MD in a Science or Business subject.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Demonstrated leadership for matrix teams in large organisations.
- Excellence in communicating effectively across different audiences and organisational levels, including senior management.
- A full awareness of trends and an ability to proactively address needs based on external demands.
- Facilitation skills for bridging between scientific and business teams, and for managing effective international and cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated experience in designing or re-designing business processes to meet quality and compliance standards and to simply the way we work.
