A newly founded biotechnology company is currently seeking a Head of Capital Projects to join their office in Reykjavik. This organisation is fast becoming a pioneer and leader in the field of biosimilars, with a growing portfolio of developed and manufactured products across the value chain, from cell line development to commercial manufacturing. This position represents an exciting opportunity to work with an already prestigious and dynamic company.

Job Responsibilities:

Managing multiple projects.
Overseeing the design and build of the company's new biological manufacturing facility.
Focusing on matrix-management of internal resources.
Managing external vendors, suppliers, and construction service provides.
Potentially managing an instigated future department.

Skills and Requirements:

An Ms.C. in Engineering or Management related subject.
At least 15 years in managing capital projects with >$30M budgets for biopharmaceutical companies.
Expertise with contracting vendors of equipment, facilities, and construction management.
Expertise in leading cross-functional capital projects teams.
Experience presenting project progress with senior management.
Demonstrable project management skills.
Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
