A global healthcare company that specializes in lifesaving medicines and technologies for infusion, transfusion and clinical nutrition has a vacancy for a Global Senior Manager Medical Affairs position. Proclinical is recruiting a talented and hard-individual to join the company's Swiss team in Nyon. The Global Senior Manager position will partner with Global Medical Directors to implement Medical Affairs strategies and execute medical affairs deliverables.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Executing Medical Affairs strategies in consultation with their Manager.
  • Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and Manager to evaluate various opportunities to address medical needs.
  • Developing and executing KOL engagement activities within the assigned area, to build and maintain scientific knowledge.
  • Developing objectives and content for scientific communication plans, such as publications and advisory boards, and then implementing these activities.
  • Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to ensure that medical information, training content, and promotional material are current, scientifically accurate, and in compliance with applicable standards.
  • Contributing to the development of educational material and participation in training activities.
  • Explaining complex medical concepts and issues to non-medical personnel.
  • Understanding compliance requirements, risk identification and assessment, and being accountable for this understanding.
  • Implementing and monitoring appropriate internal controls.
  • Ensuring adherence to applicable company standards, policies and procedures.
  • Implementing and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system.
  • Developing late phase study concepts and protocols in alignment with the stakeholders' requirements; supporting conduct, reporting and interpreting data in a scientific, efficient and compliant manner, with due regard to applicable policies, processes, procedures and national regulations.
  • Supporting or leading relevant SOP development for Medical Affairs.

Skills and Requirements:

  • At least a BS/BA, though ideally a PhD, in a scientific discipline. Alternatively, equivalent experience with an advanced scientific degree.
  • At least 5 years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience in Medical Affairs Experience in mid-sized pharmaceutical industry and global set up is an advantage.
  • Strong team ethos, with a demonstrated track record of success in cross-functional team and fast moving environment.
  • An ability to manage multiple simultaneously to ensure timely, on-target, and within budget accomplishment of tasks.
  • Excellent computing and oral/written communication skills.
  • Excellent English oral and written skills.
