Proclinical is seeking a EU Brand Manager - Oncology launch to be based in Munich on a permanent basis. The European Marketing Team members are responsible for the commercial promotion of assigned product. This entails ownership in the development and execution of mission critical strategies and tactics that ensure optimal positioning, demand, utilization, and overall growth of the brand. The Brand Manager or Europe will be responsible for gaining insights to inform strategies and tactics to maximise adoption of the product.
While the core responsibilities of this role will be developing our strategies and tactics for the Oncology audience, the success of select product requires talented marketers with the ability to significantly contribute beyond their role. This includes all aspects of brand management. Strong teamwork, collaboration, communication, presentation skills and a commitment to compliance with all laws and regulations of our industry are a must for success in this role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop industry leading strategies and tactics to support key customers and stakeholders
- Gather insights to identify anticipated drivers and barriers of product adoption
- Work closely with country General Managers and cross-functional teams to align core messages and brand story with the broader promotional platform
- Fully participate as a member of the EU Marketing Team to meet or exceed brand metrics
- Work closely with our regulatory team to ensure compliance with all industry laws and regulations
- Coordinate submission of tactics to Medical, Legal review committee
- Act as Marketing point for Product Team, a Sales and Marketing cross functional working group
- Lead collaboration efforts between Marketing and Sales Training
- Manage multi-channel directed tactics from development through regulatory submission:
- Assist in the Management of the AOR based tactics and leading through the overall budgets and timelines and development required
- Assist in the development and execution of our print media plans
- Assist in the development of promotional tactics tailored for use at major conferences
Skills & Requirements
- Ability to foster relationships, build alignment, negotiate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- High energy, creativity, and aptitude for handling multiple tasks concurrently
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred
- 8+ years pharmaceutical and biotech experience demonstrating strong progression within oncology commercial (brand marketing, sales training, field sales, etc.), with a minimum of 4+ years in a management or a leadership role
- Product launch experience preferred
- Oncology Field Sales/Field Sales Management preferred
- 2+ Years Pharma/Biotech Marketing experience preferred
- Languages - German fluency is required
- Broad experience and knowledge base through progression within the function preferred
- Oncology Experience Required
- Office Based Position with 20% travel expected.
- Position will be based in Munich or another EU affilate
