A well-known global pharmaceutical company with leading products across various therapeutic areas is looking to hire a Director Science Project Management. This vacancy is an exciting opportunity to work at a top global pharmaceutical company that has a workforce of more than 6,700 employees across multiple sites in the UK.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Launching Enterprise Data Governance Board (EDGB) and support the launch of Cluster Data Governance Councils (CDGC).
  • Implementing a mechanism for EDGB and CDGC to run on their own using company resources.
  • Fully integrating EDGB and CDGC with Information technology Governance within the company.
  • Developing and obtaining approval of Data Governance policies and metrics working in collaboration globally across the company to align for the enterprise.
  • Defining and obtaining approval of the process for identifying and assigning data owner and data stewards.
  • Defining and obtaining the approval of the process for compliance with and escalation of non-compliance with data governance policies.
  • Implementing and making any new process created self-sustainable.
  • Assisting Cluster Data Governance Councils with the implementation of these policies and processes at the cluster level.
  • Launching Enterprise Data Governance Board (EDGB) and support the launch of Cluster Data Governance Councils.
  • Developing and getting approval of Data Governance policies and metrics working in collaboration globally across the company to align for the enterprise.
  • Defining and getting approval of the process for compliance with and escalation of non-compliance with data governance policies.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience in good data governance and management practice, relevant data Life Science domain experience, and relevant domain business processes.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and legal data/information policies and standards throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of data governance software tools and experience developing business requirements budgets.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
