Proclinical is happy to advertise an opportunity for a Customer Success Manager position with a global organisation of expert scientists, technologists, and business leaders with a long and successful history of harnessing scientific information opportunities. This company is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Customer Success Manager to join their team in the UK.

The Customer Success Manager will ensure that every customer realises the full value of company products and services by onboarding, enabling, and teaching our users and customers how to realise the full value of our solutions. They will also retain, cross-sell, and upsell existing clients through a superior experience and understanding of their needs. Finally, the Customer Success Manager will manage a territory of company customers and ensure that they are receiving exceptional experiences through our interactions with the company as a firm.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing an assigned book of business and building, expanding, and solidifying relationships with existing clients via necessary sales and support visits, calls, emails, and presentations with the expectation of creating, advancing, and closing revenue opportunities within an assigned territory.
  • Anticipating and driving growth of additional services and coverage levels by conducting thorough needs assessments and matching these needs to the appropriate solutions.
  • Cultivating relationships with the most senior buyer in the client organisation as well as with day-to-day client representatives and buyers,
  • Following the established sales process and consistently utilising the CRM to document prospect interaction, ensuring efficient lead management.
  • Monitoring customer dashboards, identifying risks, and acting where necessary to ensure optimal customer experience and product usage.
  • Creating and documenting user success stories and communicating these to buyers.
  • Developing and maintaining daily plans to maximise selling time, including pre-call planning, adhering to metrics and customised scripts based on opportunity type.
  • Attending/presenting at trade shows, events, and conferences.c

Skills and Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, preferably in science, business, communications, or other related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of sales related experience including lead generation, inside and outside sales, business development, and customer service.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales objectives and territory/account development.
  • Experience leveraging LinkedIn and other prospecting tools.
  • Experience selling science related solutions and/or information/intellectual property.
  • Strong capacity to articular industry-specific value proposition to address customer pain points.
  • At least 2 years of experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Demonstrated experience with virtual selling tools such as GoToMeeting, Web-Ex, and other comparable tools.
