Proclinical is excited to announce that a new job opportunity has arisen for a Communications and Business Administration Assistant to join a leading worldwide, research-based pharmaceutical company based in London.

The Communications and Business Administration Assistant will work with site leadership and with cross-functional teams across London to understand local communications requirements and gaps, and ensure the communications plans meet these needs. They'll also be interfacing with global teams to ensure inclusion and collaboration.

This is a contracted role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing the creation of internal communication messages for site leadership.
  • Supporting the writing of blog posts/articles, and other communications as required.
  • Managing an intranet communications plan/calendar for the company site developing concise and clear messages and plans for anniversary and (disease) awareness events throughout the year.
  • Managing the Communications mailbox and calendar, ensuring that relevant items are up to date and communicated to staff as appropriate.
  • Creating communications materials and messages for the company community for data and interesting articles.
  • Participating as required in employee-led committees (FLN, Team Meetings, etc), to ensure the voice of communications is heard and adds value.
  • Working closely with relevant function heads/individuals to ensure Site Goals/KPIs are regularly updated and communicated.
  • Functioning as a point of contact for the company when require for communications related activities/requests.
  • Liaising with other communications colleagues in other company entities as necessary.

Skills and Requirements:

  • A graduate with experience as a business analyst or in a comparable role desired, though not essential.
  • Ideally, a second degree or a diploma in Communications or Business Administration or some experience in these areas.
  • Travel Requirements TBD.
  • Exceptional communications skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong organisational skills with strong attention to detail and time management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint a necessity.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and data management skills.
  • Flexibility, and the ability to work in teams.
  • An ability to work independently, whilst also being adaptable to varied work that requires intellectual approaches.
