A leading pharmaceutical company with a diverse pipeline that focuses on rare conditions is seeking to recruit a Commercial Operations Associate. The organisation specialises in optimising and repurposing drugs, along with reinstating generic drugs, by using formulation technology to create new drug delivery technologies and improve the efficacy and effectiveness of drugs. Based in Cambridge, this position represents an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and pragmatic company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing
  • Reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations and supporting the cross-functional team, including Regional Commercial Directors, Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Global Marketing and Quality functions to support the fulfilment of sales orders.
  • Acting as the first point of contact between international distributors and Head Office; managing incoming e-mails and enquiries and following up actions with various internal stakeholders.
  • Monitoring new orders inbox and working closely with the Supply Chain and Quality department to ensure orders are delivered within timeframes agreed.
  • Gathering feedback from current distributors and support internal discussions to improve processes.
  • Supporting the monitoring of budgets and sales forecast. Support the Head of Commercial Operations in the preparation of reports or slides for meetings.
  • Participating and coordinating internal department meetings and external meetings with distributors. Draw follow up actions notes and support the team to deliver on agreed actions and timelines.
  • Opportunity to grow within the role and take leadership in commercial roles.
  • International travel may be required once per quarter.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in a commercial business environment.
  • Hands-on experience in business projects.
  • Project Management qualification will be considered a plus.
  • Experienced in and enjoy working with different cultures.
  • Fluent in either Spanish/Arabic/Mandarin will be a plus.
  • Demonstrable project management skills.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
