Proclinical is excited to announce that a new job opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Trial Manager position with a biotechnology company focusing on late-stage drug pipelines and developing new treatment options for orphan diseases. The company is searching for someone to join their Copenhagen-based team.

The incumbent will join a dedicated team of professionals, and become an important member of the Clinical Development staff. This position is newly established, and so the Clinical Trial Manager will have main responsibility for successful end-to-end clinical trial execution, from the point of receiving scope through to project closure. Moreover, the Clinical Trial Manager will lead a cross-functional sponsor team, providing management and oversight of CRO/vendor deliverables.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing of triple constraints: time, budget, quality.
  • Developing operational plans.
  • Selecting and managing vendors.
  • Overseeing of CRO(s).
  • Coordinating all delivery with input from Medical Director, Safety, Regulatory, Biometrics (Data Management, Statistics and Statistical Programming), Clinical Operations Specialist, Clinical Trial Administration, and Clinical Trial Supplies.
  • Active identification and management of trial related risks.
  • Identifying and contributing to areas of best practice and process improvements.
  • Travelling 5-10 days a year.

Skills and Requirements:

  • A B.Sc, or similar relevant education.
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical trial experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in collaborating with clinical CROs.
  • Familiarity with budget management and accruals.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of MS Project is also preferred.
  • An ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions within the organisation.
  • A demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
