Proclinical is currently advertising on behalf of a global leader and specialist in sourcing, distribution, and management of comparator drugs and other pharmaceutical products and supplies for clinical trials, including biosimilar trials and research. The company is seeking a Client Account Manager to join their Leicester based team.

The Client Account Manager will be responsible for driving revenue through managing and growing existing client accounts. This will involve identifying client needs and presenting solutions to close deals. The keys to achieving these objectives are developing and implementing effective client management processes and coordinating service delivery with company Procurement and Operations functions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Working with sponsor companies' clinical trial drug requirements, and developing supply strategies, timelines and plans to meet their requirements.
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate drugs are procured for clients, whilst ensuring that these activities are performed in accordance with the relevant expectations, regulations and quality standards.
  • Working with the client in up-front project planning phases to define their requirements.
  • Ensuring accurate quotations for client projects.
  • Maintaining regular contact with clients and supporting or leading client review meetings.
  • Proactively monitoring progress and communicating with clients on purchase orders.
  • Enhancing department and organisation reputation by accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Attending key trade shows and industry events to promote the company and network with existing clients.
  • Following up with clients during and after service is completed to build relationships; this includes managing customer relations after sales have been completed.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Experience with working under relevant drug regulations.
  • Demonstrable experience of working with client plans and projects.
  • Experience in EU markets ideal, with additional Middle Eastern market experience a bonus.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on customer service and relations.
  • Excellent English, both written and oral.
