A leading biotechnology company that specialises in RNAi therapeutics is advertising a vacancy for a CEMEA Lead IT Enterprise Systems position. The organisation uses this innovative form of therapy to treat rare genetic, cardio metabolic, acute hepatic infectious, central nervous system (CNS) and ocular diseases. The CEMEA Lead IT Enterprise Systems will join this company in their office in the Netherlands. Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and Operate systems that support the CEMEA O2C Operations.
  • Act as a regional leader for innovation as it relates to advancing the O2C capabilities with technology.
  • Build and Operate systems that support the CEMEA Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, Legal, and Compliance (G&A) environments.
  • Build expertise with CEMEA country setups in Enterprise Systems.
  • Act as regional CEMEA leader for innovation as it relates to advancing O2C and G&A capabilities through technology.
  • Develop CEMEA capability roadmap plans for key capability builds (IT systems and associated process and organizational support) needed to achieve company business goals.
  • Manage key relationship within CEMEA Expertise Areas/functions to establish a customer focused service model.
  • Ensure synergies are found to smoothly integrate strategies and technologies across the Global Enterprise Systems Landscape.
  • Draw upon business-relationships, experience, and industry trends to enable and optimize CEMEA G&A operations through the delivery of technology solutions that are both innovative and fit-for-purpose.
  • Work with various business areas to promote and champion the benefits of a global technology eco-system tailored to specific local needs.
  • Design strategies and processes with other areas of IT to ensure data integrity, system availability, and network security.
  • Manage and prioritize a portfolio of systems initiatives for Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, Legal and Compliance - coordinating with various teams to ensure timely delivery and resourcing.
  • Clearly communicate strategy and project milestones to all members of the CEMEA Management and IT leadership teams.
  • Translate business requirements into technology solutions that fit the needs of the CEMEA G&A business teams. Ensure regional governances are in-line with global objectives.
  • Ensure availability of systems supporting Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, Legal and Compliance.

Skills and Requirements:

  • University degree.
  • 5 or more years of IT leadership in the area of systems and data.
  • 5-10 years of SAP experience (SD, FI-CO. MM a plus).
  • At least 5 years of experience managing and implementing key Enterprise Systems and / or new regulations including:
    • Oracle HR (FUSION / Taleo)
    • Financial planning systems (AdaptiveInsights )
    • Workforce planning systems
    • Invoice Management (Concur)
    • Procure to Pay processes and systems (SAP & GEP)
    • Contract Management Systems (Novatus / Conga)
    • Time & Attendance (e.g. Kronos)
    • Transparency reporting / Sunshine Act compliance
    • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
    • Business Intelligence and Reporting systems
  • Experience implementing and supporting ETL processes and technologies
  • 7 or more years in the pharma/biotech industry.
  • O2C and Enterprise Systems Domain Expert who can educate about trends and best-practices in the pharma and healthcare segment.
  • Strategic thinker able to visualize and articulate how new technologies can create new opportunities and/or evolve current models.
  • Able to appropriately apply information privacy, data security, and confidentiality standards.
  • Advanced planner with demonstrated experience building detailed technology roadmaps that clearly align with business strategies and timelines.
  • Fluent in English. Other languages a plus.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
