Business Operations Manager

Proclinical is seeking a Business Operations Manager to be based in Germany on a permanent basis.

Role Overview:

• In close alignment with GM Germany, QA Head Europe and Canada, Supply Chain/Distribution Director and DIO Germany
• Local contact for governmental authorities (e.g. Reg. v. Oberbayern)
• Maintain local Quality Mgmt. System for Germany and perform Management Reviews
• Responsible person for quality reports, product complaints
• Set up, review, renewal and archiving of all quality relevant processes and SOPs; review change of German legislation re: QA/GDP matters
• Responsible person for staff and external vendor training incl. documentation and archiving
• Preparation and management of quality inspections and audits
• Management of local deviations, CAPA and changes
• Manage outsourced GDP activities and Quality Agreements
• Management of interface with distributor on quality matters
• Set up and maintenance of ‚safe distribution pathway for product to patients via hospital and retail pharmacists
• Inventory management and forecasting in alignment with Supply Chain organization, CL and GM
• Control of order management in alignment with Commercial Lead, GM and Distributor
• Customer contact for product related questions (non-medical, non-PV)
• Handling of customer complaints and returns
• Management of goodwill transactions between customers and Germany (in alignment with GM, CL and Distributor) Business Analytics
• Review of daily, weekly and monthly global reports and support of Commercial Lead
• Feedback to regional and global leads re: report optimization and customer fit
• Interface to Field Force, Distributor, customers and local management for local data generation and review (e.g. KAM reports)
• Support of KAM team and CL in set up, review and follow-up on Key Account Management Plans
• Support of CL in CRM analytics
• Set-up of local stand-alone reports if not included in global/regional reporting package
• Local contact for market intelligence; initiation of primary and secondary market research as needed
