Proclinical is working with a biopharmaceutical company that is seeking a Brand Manager to be based in Munich on a permanent basis. The Brand Manger's responsibility is to support the local affiliate in marketing and sales operations, congress management, market research and analytics. The position is will report to the Commercial Lead and will interact with the Sales Force (KAMs), the Medical Team and external Distributors and vendors. The position is located at the German affiliate headquarter in Munich.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Creation and implementation of local marketing projects in alignment with the CL, Medical, Legal and Regulatory within the specified timeframes
  • Customization, translation and implementation of global and regional marketing/promotional campaigns in cooperation with Regional Marketing, Legal, Regulatory and Medical
  • Support of Commercial Lead in developing and executing national operative marketing plans on an annual basis to meet the strategic goals
  • Ongoing management of marketing budget / IP on a monthly and annual basis
  • Contribute to setting KPIs for Specific German marketing activities and ensure ongoing monitoring of agreed KPIs to allow for optimized outcomes
  • Develop and/or adapt content for public/patients disease education material in collaboration with medical affairs, oversee the production
  • Presentation of marketing activities and campaigns as required at German KAM cycle meetings
  • Management and support of German congress and local educational events in collaboration with local and CEMEA event coordinators and external agencies/vendors
  • Support of KAM team for regional activities and promotional support
  • Set-up and implementation of local primary market research projects as needed in alignment with the CL and regional market insights team
  • Ensure close teamwork between sales, marketing, medical, legal and regulatory on national and international level with close support of the Commercial Lead
  • Ensure that all company marketing activities and materials conform to current legal and compliance requirements and our clients standard operation procedures (SOPs)

Skills and Requirements:

  • University qualification in University degree in life sciences or economics/business or equivalent.
  • Extended and proven track record of marketing environment with a minimum of 3-4 years experience, in the field of pharmaceutical industry, preferentially in rare diseases or specialty care
  • Advanced skills in project management including forward planning, strong time management, sense of priorities and smooth vendor management
  • German as native language, advanced English and computer skills, especially Windows / Office365 (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Social Media and database experience advantageous
  • Team player
  • Pronounced flexibility and resilience
  • Strong ability to work independently plus high level of self-motivation
  • Ability and eagerness to learn and adapt to new situations
