Biobanking Lab Technician - Contract - Camden, NJ

Proclinical is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the role of Biobanking Lab Technician.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role involves managing and maintaining laboratory systems, assisting with order fulfillment and participating in equipment maintenance schedules. A valid driver's license is required for participation in on-call rotations for equipment monitoring.

Skills & Requirements:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant experience
Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is an advantage.
Valid driver's license
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a team environment

The Biobanking Lab Technician's responsibilities will be:

Become proficient in using Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and Biobanking Logistics Inventory Tracking System (BLITS)
Complete online certifications for the Department of Transportation and Biohazardous Waste
Assist with internal and external order fulfillment, requests, or shipments
Prepare kit components
Assist in filling liquid nitrogen tanks
Assist in the storage and retrieval of biospecimens from tanks and freezers
Deliver daily work orders to the Production & Research Laboratories
Participate and assist with equipment preventative maintenance schedules
Participate in on-call rotations for equipment monitoring
Maintain a well-organized work environment
Assist with the tactical operations of all areas of the Biobanking Logistics
