Proclinical is partnering with a with a global biotechnology company that focuses on treating a range of serious and chronic medical conditions to advertise a vacancy for an Automation C&Q Engineer position. This organisation, whose broad range of therapies includes treating haemophilia and primary immune deficiencies, is seeking for an experienced individual to join their team in Illinois. This is a contract position, that will run until 2020.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Creating and maintaining Requirements Trace Matrices (RTM).
  • Developing and executing Design Qualifications (DQ).
  • Developing and executing Commissioning protocols and IOQ protocols.
  • Working with the ICQ team to ensure commissioning readiness of documentation that supports Equipment Start-Up and ICQ Testing.
  • Working with the area C&Q Team through start-up exercises in a safe and controlled manner.

Skills and Requirements:

  • At least 12 years of experience, including design and construction projects for biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
  • At least 8 years of experience related to Commissioning and Qualification of computerised systems within cGMP Facilities.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with computerised systems.
  • Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.
  • A thorough understanding of Werum systems or Siemens 7.
  • Proven success in working with a team environment with flexibility regarding changing business needs.
  • Must be able to legally work in the U.S.A. for the duration of the project. This project will not sponsor visas.
  • Capable of travelling to domestic and international destinations to support the project, as required.
  • Capable of working independently, analysing, working with attention to detail, process and prioritise sensitive complex information, and solve problems.
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
  • Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
