Associate Director Physician - Early Oncology

At Proclinical, we are seeking an individual to fill the role of Associate Director Physician - Early Oncology, based in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

• Be integral to the design, conduct, monitoring, data interpretation, reporting and publication of specific clinical studies within the early clinical development portfolio.
• Encourage collaboration as key contact for specific clinical studies, ensuring ethical and scientific integrity of activities.
• Create personal networks and draw upon early oncology development community to ensure peer-reviewed and collaborative clinical input into translational science, personalized healthcare and biomarker, quantitative clinical pharmacology, bioinformatics and other development-related strategies to assure the very highest standards of quality, and scientific and clinical validity.
• Be actively internally and externally facing.
• Maintain a high degree of awareness of new and emerging medical developments, and integrate and communicate all sources of data, internal and external, relevant to your project to inform ongoing research and development.

Skills And Qualifications

• MD or equivalent from a recognized school of medicine (oncology focused PhD preferred) and prior experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Relevant clinical research experience within oncology.
• Specialty training or board eligibility in medical oncology (or a closely allied field).
• A track record of being responsive to scientific data, with an ability to demonstrate how you have followed and adapted to emerging science and innovation in your research.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including a command of English.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
