Analytical Development, Principal Scientist

An up and coming biopharmaceutical company is seeking to recruit an Analytical Development, Principal Scientist to their office in Shanghai. This organisation specialises in cancer immunotherapy, focusing on emerging treatments that save lives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leading the overall analytical and bioassay method development, optimization, qualification/validation, and transfer to support pipeline projects from pre-clinical to commercialization.
• Leading high-throughput method development effort to significantly improve efficiency.
• Writing, reviewing, and approving analytical method SOPs, protocols, and reports.
• Working collaboratively with internal upstream, downstream, and project management groups to ensure effective program development.
• Providing technical expertise to programs conducted at CDMOs.
• Support to prepare IND-filing document.

Skills and Requirements:

• Leading the overall analytical and bioassay method development, optimization, qualification/validation, and transfer to support pipeline projects from pre-clinical to commercialization.

• Writing, reviewing, and approving analytical method SOPs, protocols, and reports.

• Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence.
• Good organisational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment.
• Proficiency with computer skills, such as MS Office.
