Proclinical is seeking an Account Manager, for an independent global provider of service solutions, to be based in The Netherlands on a permanent basis. This Account Manager role will be responsible for an interesting, ever developing market, with clients that are active in governmental, academic and healthcare field. You will generate New Business, and build sustainable relationships with new clients, based on trust, excellent service, and by finding common ground and set up interesting projects together. You are also looking after current accounts and will always make sure that your clients receive the best service and will choose us as their preferred partner.

To succeed in this role we have an excellent sales support team with product specialists. They offer research, context, service and presentations to (potential) clients, and are true experts in the products we offer. This gives you the opportunity to focus on building relationships and deliver on your promise to your client immediately.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generating leads, and then immediately involve the right internal specialists to follow up with your (potential) clients in an effective manner and deliver quality
  • Developing and executing Account Management plans for your clients in The Netherlands, in collaboration with the Sales Manager
  • Active selling of your portfolio to your clients
  • Visiting clients and labs and setting up (prospective) pitches to generate business
  • Developing and implementing contracts and guiding your clients through this process
  • Work closely with your Product Specialist and Key Account Management colleagues to come up with innovative solutions to best serve your clients
  • Reporting on sales efforts and keeping CRM system up to date
  • Developing, sending and amending proposals

Skills and Requirements:

  • BSc (HBO or WO) In Life Sciences or Higher Laboratory Education
  • Experience working in a lab, or understanding of the laboratory industry
  • Commercial and sales experience - you are an excellent communicator and are not afraid to challenge clients
  • Fluent in Dutch & English
  • You are pro-active, love a challenge, never give up, you want to give the very best service to our clients and you can motivate and engage your colleagues internally
