What do pharma engineering jobs involve?
Engineering jobs in pharma are involved in the design and operation of research facilities, or in the conception, design, manufacturing, labelling and packaging of pharmaceutical drugs. Engineers that wish to work in pharma can opt for various specialist fields such as chemical engineering, process engineering and manufacturing engineering.
Typically, working in pharmaceutical engineering requires at least an undergraduate degree in engineering, the more relevant the better (i.e. chemical engineering).
