Director, Statistical Programing - Permanent - Remote

Proclinical is actively seeking a Director of Statistical Programming for a global biotechnology company. This is a permanent role with the opportunity to work remotely.

Primary Responsibilities:

This role is pivotal in developing and executing a comprehensive global statistical programming strategy, focusing on innovative technologies, automation, processes, and standards to enhance efficiency. The successful candidate will also contribute to the design and implementation of a centralized data warehouse and lead a skilled team of programmers to support ongoing pipeline expansion initiatives.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or Contract Research Organization (CRO) environment.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming using SAS, including Base, Macro, STAT, GRAPH, and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of FDA, EMA, ICH, and other global regulations and industry standards pertaining to clinical study data and trial reporting, including CDISC standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading submissions.
  • Experience in Oncology or Infectious Disease therapeutic areas and submission processes (preferred).
  • Exceptional leadership, project management, and English communication skills.

The Director, Statistical Programing will:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global statistical programming strategy.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of a centralized data warehouse.
  • Define and enforce programming standards within the department.
  • Spearhead the creation of innovative solutions to standardize and automate processes.
  • Design tools for the effective validation of derived datasets and production of TLFs.
  • Develop a skilled team of programmers to support ongoing pipeline expansion initiatives.
  • Generate ad hoc datasets and TLFs as needed.

Compensation:

  • $180,000 - $210,000 annually
